We're backstage at Acoustic Christmas with 4 Non Blondes (wow, hi) (Hello) hi, say hi to, say hi to Los Angeles (Hi) we can hear you, we can hear you (hi mom) So where have you guys just come from?(We) Hollywood Boulevard We came from Europe, we were in Europe for two months Being just overwhelmed with, uh, uh, wonderful bilingual people (bilinguality) What did you like the best, which country or city?Hm, well, I just liked all the sold out shows And when people wanted to touch me (in LA, she likes that part) You've been on the road since March And you're going home tomorrow? (Yeah, yay)So that's it? How long you get to stay home? Hm, supposedly, they say a month But that's not what happen Who gets to sit still for a month?So, you're getting Christmas at home? Yeah, actually I'm coming to LA for Christmas 'Cause my mom lives here (wow) (So) I'm going to Oklahoma (she's coming to the show?) YeahDo you guys do any special rehearsing or practicing For this, for doing acoustic You guys are pretty much acoustic anyways, so probably not It is a lot different, just because there's acoustic instrument in the band Doesn't mean, like, everybody all of a sudden knows how to Go acoustic in this different dimensionBut it's kinda like, you know, you want that raw, edgy sound And, when, when you say acoustic, (yeah, that's it) you don't want For, for me, my personal opinion, I don't want, like, it orchestrated And like, have this big production, because acoustic Unplugged means go for it (raw), be raw, and see if you can do it And if it comes out great, good, if it doesn't, at least you triedWe just got a copy of the Wayne's World soundtrack, you guys rock (Yeah, cool, good, thanks) where did that come from? That was a song we had on a while ago and, hm Hm, I co-wrote it with our, our ex-guitar player And we played it in our set, because it's just like All of a sudden, it's just like, punkYeah, that's a song we added to the set 'Cause I can jump out into the crowd and they can touch me all over (great) But, oh, we pass our rubbers on everything (how about tonight?) Any touching tonight? (Well) Looking forward jumping in the crowd? (Well, I don't think tonight) Climbing on top of the Christmas tree and hanging in the ceiling? (Hey) Swinging?
