Biografía de Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin se formó en Londres en 1968 cuando el guitarrista Jimmy Page, quien había sido miembro de The Yardbirds, decidió crear una nueva banda tras la disolución de su grupo anterior. Page reclutó al vocalista Robert Plant, al bajista John Paul Jones y al baterista John Bonham, completando así una formación que se convertiría en legendaria. La banda tomó su nombre de una broma del baterista Keith Moon de The Who, quien había sugerido que un supergrupo hipotético se hundiría como un "globo de plomo". Plant, nacido en West Bromwich, había comenzado su carrera musical en bandas locales de blues durante la década de 1960, mientras que Jones ya tenía experiencia como músico de sesión y arreglista antes de unirse al proyecto de Page.
