Biografía de Johnny Cash
Johnny Cash nació el 26 de febrero de 1932 en Kingsland, Arkansas, en una familia trabajadora durante la Gran Depresión. Creció en una granja de algodón donde conoció de primera mano las dificultades económicas que más tarde reflejaría en sus canciones. Desde joven mostró interés por la música, aprendiendo a tocar la guitarra y escribiendo sus primeras canciones. Tras servir en la Fuerza Aérea de Estados Unidos en Alemania, regresó a su país y se mudó a Memphis, donde trabajó como vendedor de electrodomésticos mientras perseguía su sueño musical. En 1955 audicionó para Sun Records, donde Sam Phillips quedó impresionado por su voz grave y distintiva, marcando el inicio de su carrera profesional.
Musicalmente, Cash desarrolló un estilo único que combinaba country, rockabilly, blues, folk y gospel, caracterizado por un ritmo constante que sus seguidores denominaron "boom-chicka-boom". Su voz profunda y su presencia escénica lo distinguieron desde sus primeros éxitos. A lo largo de su carrera experimentó con diferentes sonidos y colaboraciones, desde sus primeros trabajos en Sun Records hasta sus álbumes más maduros.
