Biografía de Doris Day
Doris Day, nacida el 3 de abril de 1922 en Cincinnati, Ohio (Estados Unidos), es una legendaria intérprete de música pop y jazz hispanohablante. Su carrera artística se remonta a su infancia, cuando comenzó a cantar en la iglesia local.
En 1937, a los 15 años, ganó un concurso de talentos en una estación de radio local y obtuvo un trabajo como cantante en el programa "Barney Barnes Show". Esto le valió una oportunidad para grabar su primer sencillo, "Have More Fun", que fue publicado por la discográfica RCA Victor.
En los años 40, Day se mudó a California y firmó con la compañía de producción Buddy DeSylva Productions, lo que le permitió actuar en películas como "Romance on the High Seas" (1948) y "It's a Great Feeling" (1949). Durante este período, también grabó varios éxitos musicales, entre los que se encuentran "Sentimental Journey", "Secret Love" y "A Guy Is a Guy".
